BROKEN PIPE... We Mourn the Passing of Long Time Brother and Member, Ray Guidone
Please join me in raising bowls in memory and honor of our dear friend and brother, long time member, Ray Guidone, who passed away recently as reported by our dear brother, Gennaro Filosa. I received a call from Gennaro informing me of Ray’s passing. Many of you new friends and members of the Club will not know Ray, however, we old timers will surely remember the kind-hearted soul that was Ray. Ray was a fixture back in the Florio’s Grill meeting days. Ray had to give up smoking a number of years ago and he was unable to join us at meetings. Still, Ray kept in touch and it was always a pleasure to hear from him.
This is such sad news. Those of us who had the pleasure of sharing bowls together with Ray will remember the kind soul that he was. He will surely be missed.
On behalf of the entire NY Pipe Club, I extend our deepest condolences to Ray's family at this time of sorrow.
