Our great friend Bill Feuerbach has announced that once again he will host the 2018 “Kaywoodie Event”, to be held at the samelocation as last year, in Wappingers Falls, NY, on Saturday December 8th.Be sure to submit your check for $70.00, along with the application found below, which, if you are among the lucky, first 48, will also enroll you into the 2018 Northeast Pipe Smoking (Slow Smoke) Contest, a UPCA sanctioned event, as soon as possible, as it is sure to sell out, and it always does! Ladies and Gentlemen,
It is once again time for the pipe event of the year, theannual HVPC Holiday party and Northeast Pipe Smoking Contest. As has been our tradition, It will be on the second Saturday in December, December 8th, starting around 1pm at the same venue as the last three years. For anyone who has not attended before, it is a holiday party with food and drink, a pipe show, a smoking contest and social event with nothing but pipe smokers all over the North East.
We had to pass on a small increase of $5 to cover the rising cost of the food we bring in for the event, making the fee now $70. Of course this includes the food and beverages, rental of the venue and the pipe for the pipe contest.
Attached you will find the event flyer. Please return as soon as possible. For those of you wanting a table for selling pipes and accessories, please include an extra $20 for the table and mark that on your entry form. These tables are limited so if you wanted one, respond early, like this week
. Anybody who can share tables that will help. If you will be sharing, let me know with whom so I can include a list of exhibitors as we get closer to the event date.

Registration is $70.($10 of which goes to the SDPSA for renting the facility for the day)We are going to have to limit the the number of contest participants to the first 48 registration forms returned.Fee includes your contest pipe, contest tobacco, contest prizes and buffet dinner.
